Emrich Retreat Center is located in Brighton, Michigan and is easily accessible to
two major expressways - I-96 and US 23. The Center is owned by the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan and its property consists of 26 acres of beautiful, diverse land and several simple, well
kept buildings.
The Emrich Retreat Center has a rich history, and has hosted many groups and individuals, including religious and faith organizations as well as secular groups. The Center
also has facilities to accommodate families and individuals on retreat. Emrich is prepared to host all day
workshops and seminars. The Emrich Center staff is committed to providing exceptional hospitality, nourishing food and clean, comfortable
and simple surroundings for their guests. A Board of Managers has oversight responsibility for the Center as well. The daily work is handled by the Director, Hugh Munce, The Rev. Harry Shaefer, the Office Administrator and Carl Cafini the on-site Maintenance Person. All of the meals are prepared by the Kitchen Manager, Jackie Bennett.
